We have a bunch of emails to send out still! There were tons of photos and some people even had more than one, so I’m working my way through them as quickly as I can. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for you in bib 3010 and get that to you. Also, some bibs were hard to read or I did not have their information because they registered late; if this could apply to you, there will be an album, separate post, or link on the Quintiles site/page so you can look and see if you might be one of those unidentified!

No, it doesn’t mean that necessarily! It could mean a couple things – a) your picture is in the group of photos we’re in the process of uploading now or b) we couldn’t read your bib number or didn’t have your email because of late registration. We beg your patience but all emails should be sent out by Friday, which is the best way to ensure you get your photo, and all photos will be up tomorrow morning (there was a group that we had to redo due to poor quality). So, I beg your patience but keep checking back! There were 3343 pictures, so there’s tons to sift through and it’s easy to lose on the blog, but if I can read the bib number I’ll be emailing the pics as well to ensure you get it!

I do remember the photographers and was the only runner by myself when I saw them, so I’m wondering what happened. We are still working diligently to email everyone their photos. I believe nearly all photos are uploaded, but there is a very slight chance that yours was not posted. We have emailed about 850 photos – some people will receive more than one, also. If your bib was visible, then you should be receiving an email shortly. I had hoped to have them all out by Friday, but with so many photos the process is a little more sluggish than I had originally anticipated. I appreciate your patience and hope to have your photo to you soon.

There might be a couple reasons why you haven’t located your pictures. A bunch of duplicates got into the original post and so the original post was deleted and all photos reuploaded. There’s a very slight chance that your photo was missed, but I am working as quickly as I can to email photos out so runners ensure they get them.
Another possibility is that your bib was not visible or I could not make out all the numbers. If this is the case, I have a folder I’m working on with un identified runners that will be posted to help some find their photos.
The third possibility was that if you were in a group of runners, you/your bib was not caught in the frame.
I am working to send all runners their photos individually. With over 2,000 of you it’s proving to be a slower process than I had originally hoped but I am confident we will have all photos out sometime this week. If your bib was visible, stay tuned!
Lastly, check your spam blocker occasionally. Some refuse emails with attachments, some may flag it.

Hi Amy,
You should be receiving an email early this week if we could identify your bib number. If we can’t, we will post a blog post as well as on Facebook in case you were one of those whose bibs weren’t visible.
Another reason you may not get an email is if your spam blocker or server rejects emails with attachments. We’ve had several returned to us, which we will include in the album we post later this week.

If you feel that this is incorrect, check your spam folder or settings. We’ve received a handful of rejected emails due to a variety of reasons, and we will post these in an album on here and Facebook later this week with other photos we couldn’t identify.

I have tried on several computers to see the entire album but I can’t because it takes forever to load. Do you know of anyone else having this issue. How can I resolve it so I can view all of the pictures?

There are a ton of pictures here, so I’m sure that’s why it’s taking so long to load. I’m honestly not sure if there’s a way to speed it up, but I am working as quickly as I can to send everyone their emails! If we got your bib captured clearly, we should be able to send you your photos shortly.

I noticed that many pictures were repeated when I was scrolling through. Is it possibly that maybe some were uploaded twice and others not at all? I also can’t see a photo of myself and my friend, but I definitely remember high-fiving in front of the camera and hearing the camera take 3 or 4 pictures

Yes, the emails are still coming. However, in the meantime, check out our new album for your photo. We uploaded all of the photos to a Photobucket album today since we were getting so many comments about people not seeing their photos. Unfortunately, the blog was not the most ideal place for that amount of photos, but we have updated the page. Now, if you click “View album” in the upper right hand corner of the slideshow, it will take you to the album page.

We have uploaded all our photos to a photobucket album for an easier search. You can view this by clicking the “View album” link in the upper right corner of the slideshow frame. While we process all the photos and send the emails, going through that site is probably the fastest way to locate your photo. We apologize for the delay but we realized our blog site was the issue due to the bulk amount of photos, and we have corrected this!

All I know is, there are a lot of doubles in the group of photos.
This should be fixed! Please view our Photobucket albums above for all of the photos. When there were groups of runners, we did our best to try to capture everyone the best we could, so there may be some photos that look very similar to others.

I still have not received any photos from the race. I ran the half marathon and my bib number was 3214. I was a late entrant which explains the delay from reading previous posts but the race was weeks ago at this point and I am assuming your finished now?. I also checked my spam folder and it wasn’t there. Will I be receiving any photos?

Yes, all emails have been sent as of today. I can tell you that most bib numbers above 3100 did not get an email because we did not have that information, due to late registration. We already have an album on the Land Rover Cape Fear facebook page with pictures of runners who we could not identify bib numbers or did not have their information. Today, we will be updating this with a handful of more pictures, including those that were rejected by inboxes – and there were quite a few. Please check back this evening here or on our Facebook page for the album where, if we have a picture of you, you will be able to find it. Also, ALL photos we have captured are already posted on our Photobucket site, which is linked in the two embeded windows above. There are two folders, so make sure you look through both!

I’m pretty disappointed – my wife and I ran the full marathon and went by the photographer on Military Cutoff Rd 3 times.
All three times our bibs were clearly visible, yet we got no pictures.
I’m not going to wade through 900+ photos in an online gallery hunting for our pictures that appear to be in really no particular order.
And no, we didn’t register late either…..

Sorry to hear you did not receive your photos. I was responsible for sorting through all the photos individually, and emailing the ones I can, so I assure you, if I could have emailed your photo to you, it would have been sent. Now, it could have been rejected by spam filters – we had a lot of these bounce back – and if so, we posted all of those photos in an album on our Facebook page to make identifying yourself easier.
Though your bib might have been visible, if you were in or near a cluster of runners, this impeded our ability to identify and send all of the photos out, which is why we have them posted online. I understand how daunting of a task it is to wade through the photos – I did it myself – but that is the only way to secure your picture at this point. Some runners believed their bibs were visible, but due to their proximity to other runners, or the way their clothes were moving, the bibs folded or moved in a way we could not identify.
We have been working on a process to streamline the photos and how runners claim them for the race next year. We are confident the photos will be more organized so you will not experience the issue if you participate in 2015.

All photos that we were able to identify have been sent out, but we did encounter issues with a) not being able to identify all or some of the bib numbers and b) rejected/bounced emails due to spam settings. We have posted a blog, as well as a Facebook album, for pictures unidentifiable or that bounced, so your photo may be in there. If not, this page has a link to the photobucket album that has all the runners photos. I know it’s a lot to sort through, but that is the best way to find your photo at this juncture. No purchase is necessary!
